Mark V. Pace is a fifth-generation farmer, his farming skills are innately instilled along with his business skills. Mark has run Pace Farms since 1975 following in his father’s footsteps. Mark is not only known for his farming but giving back to the community. Mark is 1 of 60 life members and past President of the Chandler Compadres, which donates resources, time, talents and money to the kids of the East Valley and has raised over $8.3 million fundraising for the East Valley. He has been a key supporter of the East Valley Boy’s and Girl’s club through being a part of the Chandler Compadres. Mark has been on the Chandler Ginning Company Board of Directors since 1993. Mark has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Farm Service Agency for 10 years. Since 2014 he has served on the SRP board, prior to that he was on the SRP council since 1984. During his time on the SRP council, he served 4 years as Board Chairman.
Mark’s passion for farming and growing the community doesn’t stop there, he has also been a successful business owner throughout Arizona. He co-owned Pro Tech Radio and Cell Service from 1988-2014, which served the Pinal County area by being a key provider for their public safety’s cell and radio service. Prior to the most recent growth of Downtown Chandler, Mark co-owned Lloyd’s Complete Auto in Chandler, Arizona from 1995-2009, Lloyd’s serviced much of the farm communities in the East Valley by offering a concierge service running parts out to the farmers. Mark was also co-owner of a custom harvesting business with the Riggs brothers, Danny and Darnell for 25 years serving the farmers in the east valley.
He graduated from Westwood High School in 1970. Being a true native of Arizona decided to keep his roots local and attended both the University of Arizona in Tucson and Arizona State University in Tempe where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1975.
Mark is a 5th generation native, his roots run deep in this state and he has witnessed, experienced, and helped foster growth in the Valley. With his passion for Arizona, it has been his goal to see the state grow in a very positive way using all the new technology possible while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Apart from his love of farming, passion for state and community and strength in business ownership, he enjoys spending time with friends golfing, hunting, and fishing, as well as rejuvenating family traveling vacations.
